Combine math and art as you explore geometrical shapes, ratios and and graphing! This fun outdoor activity can be taken inside on a rainy day as well!

1. Take a picture or print an image of something you'd really like to draw!

2. Draw a grid over the image using a ruler and marker. The more boxes you the smaller the section you will have to replicate. More boxes = easier but time consuming. You pick!
  3. Draw a grid on the sidewalk using chalk at is at least two times the size of the grid on your original artwork. Hint you'll need a ruler!

4. Replicate the original drawing by drawing the image box by box!
