The hunt for Women's History is on! Rosie Riveters has launched it's second annual Women's History Hunt, a free, family-friendly event celebrates Women's History Month with a techie twist - participants use GPS-enabled devices like phones to find clue boxes in and around the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington, VA. Each box contains a puzzle piece featuring a real woman in STEM; once the puzzle is complete, kids win a prize (a Rosie Riveters STEM kit).
The hunt celebrates Women's History Month by sharing and elevating women's often unseen contributions to STEM. There are some really cool perks too - Barnes & Noble in Clarendon has included a 20% off coupon in one of the clue boxes, and The Crossing Clarendon is helping us kick things off by giving away two $250 Apple gift cards!
